Would you like to start a business or take one over? In individual startup coaching, we examine your plans, develop a business model and bring together the market, financing and next steps.
What we work on together
A good business plan does more than say whether an idea sounds exciting. It shows who will buy, how you will reach customers and whether the venture is financially viable.
Idea and target group
We review the offer, customer benefits, competitors and prices. For a takeover, we also examine the existing business and its figures.
Business plan and financing
We work out capital needs, revenue assumptions, costs, profitability and cash flow. The plan should also make sense in a conversation with a bank.
Concrete next steps
We organise possible funding routes, documents, applications and decisions. You will know what still needs to be clarified before starting or taking over a business.
Who is this coaching for?
This coaching is for people preparing for self-employment, testing an existing business idea or considering a takeover. We begin with your situation and work on the questions that actually matter to your plans. Sessions can take place in Halle or online throughout Germany if the programme and voucher permit it.
Claudia Franke and her team have supported founders and companies for many years. Their work draws on experience in business consulting, business planning and funding applications. Claudia Franke is registered as a BAFA consultant. BAFA consulting is a separate funding route and is not the same as AVGS coaching.
How to proceed with an AVGS
- Define your goal: tell your employment adviser about your startup plans and where you need support.
- Check the voucher: its goal, validity, duration and any regional requirements must fit the specific programme.
- Wait for approval: the responsible authority assesses participation. The funded programme starts only after written approval.
For AVGS funding, both the provider and programme must be approved. Online participation must also be covered by the programme approval.

Startup coaching: frequently asked questions
Will we prepare a business plan?
If it fits your goal and the approved programme, we work together on the business plan: the offer, market, sales and financial planning. The scope and result depend on your project.
Is startup coaching free of charge?
There is no programme fee for you when a suitable AVGS programme is approved in writing before it starts. Your employment agency or jobcentre decides whether to issue a voucher.
Can we also discuss a business takeover?
Yes. For a takeover, we look at the business model, existing figures, opportunities and risks, and plan the next checks.
