1. Controller

Claudia Franke, Coaching by Claudia, Herderstraße 11, 06114 Halle (Saale), phone: 0179 6882397, email: team@beratung-halle.de. You may also contact this address about data protection matters.

2. Accessing the website and hosting

Whenever you access a page, technically necessary connection data is processed, especially your IP address, access time, requested page, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system information, referrer and HTTP status. This is necessary to deliver the page, ensure stability and detect attacks or errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure website operation. STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, hosts and technically provides the website as our processor. Logs are retained only as long as needed for operation, security and error analysis. Following a security incident, some data may be needed longer for investigation or legal enforcement.

3. Contact form, email and phone

If you contact us through the form, by email or by phone, we process the details you provide (name, email address, optional phone number and message in the form; contact details and content provided through other channels) to answer and continue communicating with you. Required form fields are needed for a reply; the phone number is optional. The form is processed on our web server and sent to us by email. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual requests, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our interest in handling your enquiry. Where separate consent is requested, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies. We delete enquiries once resolved unless retention or legal enforcement remains necessary. Business and tax-relevant correspondence may be kept longer under statutory duties.

4. Consulting and contract performance

When commissioned, we process names, contact details, information about the requested service, contract and billing data, and content shared for consulting. This serves contract preparation, performance and billing (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with statutory retention duties (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Recipients may include necessary IT, email and accounting providers, and authorities where legally required. Data is deleted when its purposes cease unless statutory retention duties or legitimate claims prevent this. Depending on the document, retention periods of six, eight or ten years may apply under section 147(3) of the German Fiscal Code (AO), along with commercial law periods under section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and periods for asserting or defending claims.

5. Cookies and consent management

This website stores your choice about analytics and advertising in your browser’s local storage. Technically necessary storage may be used to operate the website and save that choice. Access to your device that is not necessary, especially for analytics or advertising, generally requires your consent under section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG); an exception applies only under section 25(2). Subsequent processing of personal data for these purposes is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can change or withdraw consent for the future at any time through Cookie settings and the cookie policy.

6. Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-3BYR663W49) to analyse page views and interactions and Google Ads (conversion ID AW-18006303265) to measure advertising performance. IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, interactions and identifiers may be transferred to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google scripts are loaded only after you explicitly allow their use. Consent is the basis for non-essential storage or access on your device and the related personal data analysis (section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change your choice for the future through Cookie settings. Google information: privacy policy.

7. External appointment booking and video calls

The “Book appointment” link leads to an external Google Calendar booking page. Only when you open the link do you leave our website and Google process the data needed for access and booking under its own privacy information. If you book, we receive the appointment and contact details you provide to organise and carry out the consultation (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual appointments, otherwise Article 6(1)(f)). A link for a possible Zoom video appointment is sent separately by email after booking. The video provider processes connection and communication data when used. We provide further details in the invitation to a specific video appointment.

8. External links and social networks

Our website links to WhatsApp and profiles on Instagram and LinkedIn. Simply visiting this website does not connect you to these services through an ordinary external link. If you follow a link or contact us through one of these services, the relevant provider processes data under its own rules, possibly in other countries. We process messages addressed to us there to answer your enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). For confidential matters you can instead use the email address above.

9. Transfers outside the EEA

When using Google services, Zoom, WhatsApp or social networks, personal data may also be processed outside the EU or European Economic Area. For transfers to the United States, the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework may apply to appropriately certified recipients; otherwise suitable safeguards under Article 46 GDPR, especially standard contractual clauses, are required. Certification and the actual transfer route must be checked for each service. You may request more information using the contact details above.

10. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). You may withdraw consent at any time for the future (Article 7(3)). You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation (Article 21); you may always object to direct marketing. To exercise your rights, email team@beratung-halle.de. This website does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

11. Right to complain

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR. Our relevant authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Saxony-Anhalt, Otto-von-Guericke-Straße 34a, 39104 Magdeburg. You may also contact an authority where you live or work.

12. Changes

We update this policy if services or legal requirements change. The version published on this page at the relevant time applies.
