How to use your AVGS.
Discuss your needs
Explain to your employment adviser what support you need for your career path.
Receive your voucher
The responsible authority assesses funding. The voucher specifies the goal, validity, duration and any regional restrictions.
Identify a suitable programme
We discuss your needs and check with the programme provider whether the offer meets the requirements of your voucher.
Submit the confirmation
Your employment adviser uses the provider's participation confirmation to assess the specific programme.
Wait for approval
Before you start, you need written approval from your employment agency or Jobcenter.
Start coaching
Once approval has been granted, we agree the schedule and work on your goals. We record the results and next steps.

Be informed before you begin.
I do not have a voucher yet. What should I do?
Arrange an appointment with your employment agency or Jobcenter. Describe your goal and the support you need. An initial conversation with me can help you clarify your request; I cannot replace the authority's funding decision.
Is coaching free for me?
You will not be charged for the approved programme if the responsible authority has given written approval before participation. Please clarify any travel or childcare costs separately with that authority in advance.
Is online coaching possible?
Online coaching is possible if this format is authorised for the specific programme and is covered by your approval. We discuss technical requirements and appointments in advance.
How long does coaching last?
There is no single duration for all participants. Your needs, the voucher conditions and the approved programme determine the duration.
AVGS or BAFA: which is right for me?
AVGS can support entry into employment and preparation for self-employment. BAFA consulting is aimed at eligible businesses that already exist. In the initial consultation, we help you identify the appropriate route.
