Day-to-day work often leaves little time to step back and look at your business. Together, we review your situation, prioritise the key issues and develop practical recommendations.

We prepare for growth, digitalisation or a new direction and define concrete steps and priorities.

Funding explained clearly
The BAFA programme supports eligible SMEs with business management questions. In Halle and Saxony-Anhalt, the grant covers 80% of eligible consulting costs, up to €2,800 based on a maximum eligible amount of €3,500.
For businesses entitled to deduct input VAT, the net amount applies. For businesses without that entitlement, BAFA has calculated the grant on the gross invoice amount paid since 15 November 2025; the funding limits still apply. The invoice must first be paid in full; the grant is paid after the supporting documents have been reviewed.
What to know before you begin →Restructuring advice & business stabilisation
Are sales falling short, costs rising or processes no longer working? Together, we assess your business's financial situation, identify where action is needed and develop a clear stabilisation plan.
Analyse income, expenditure and cash flow. Identify financial bottlenecks and build a sound basis for your next decisions.
Review the business model, pricing, processes and organisation together. Identify what is putting pressure on the business and where improvements can begin.
Define concrete actions, responsibilities and next steps. Develop a realistic roadmap to strengthen the business's ability to act.
We assess whether BAFA funding is available based on the current eligibility rules and your specific situation. If there are signs of possible insolvency, qualified insolvency law advice must also be sought without delay; this business consulting does not replace legal or tax advice.
Our work together
We discuss your concerns and establish whether consulting suits your situation.
Clarify eligibility and the application in advance. Sign the consulting contract and begin only after receiving the required BAFA information letter.
Analyse your starting position, assess possible actions and develop recommendations.
Compile the report and required supporting documents. BAFA decides on the funding.
Eligible small and medium-sized businesses and self-employed professionals with their registered office and business operations in Germany. The consulting concerns an existing business; pre-startup consulting is not covered by this programme.
No. It depends on the location of the business establishment receiving advice. Up to 80% is available in the eastern federal states excluding Berlin and the Leipzig region, and in the Lüneburg and Trier regions. In the other eligible regions, up to 50% is available, with a maximum of €1,750.
Do not start early or sign the consulting agreement prematurely. Eligibility and the application must be addressed first; wait for the required BAFA information letter before signing and starting. Businesses no more than one year old have additional requirements for an information meeting.
No. The applicable guidelines, your individual eligibility and BAFA's decision determine funding. An initial consultation is not a funding approval.
No. If the requirements are met, BAFA subsidises part of the eligible consulting costs. You initially pay the invoice in full; the subsidy is paid after the supporting documents have been checked. Your own share and ineligible costs remain payable by you. We agree the fee and scope before you commission the work.
For your first enquiry, basic information about your business, its location and your consulting goal is enough. We then agree which business data, funding information and documents are needed. Depending on the topic, revenue, costs, cash-flow figures or information about processes may be useful. Share confidential documents only through the agreed channel.
We discuss your needs, scope, fee, process and possible funding. Claudia Franke provides the professional consulting and consulting report. Your business supplies the required information and evidence and is responsible for its funding application. Any support with this is agreed in advance. BAFA decides on funding; an AVGS training provider is not responsible for this consulting service.
Personal support for you: online throughout Germany and, by arrangement, also in Halle (Saale). We agree appointments, the video service and document sharing in advance. Video meetings require a stable internet connection and a suitable device with microphone and camera. We discuss your available time and family commitments; agreed services and funding deadlines still apply.
BAFA consulting supports eligible existing businesses with business issues and requires an own contribution. AVGS coaching supports employment integration, such as preparing for self-employment or returning to work. An AVGS programme approved in writing before it starts has no programme fee for participants. See AVGS-Halle.
